SAFE VOYAGE TATTOO is doing a TOY DRIVE until the end of November to benefit the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center (BRCAC). Please drop off new, unopened toys at the shop between now and the end of November. BRCAC serves children between the ages of 3 and 17. These toys will be put to great use throughout the holiday season. BRCAC is a local non-profit agency providing forensic interviewing, family advocacy and trauma-focused therapy to children who have experienced… sexual abuse, physical abuse or have witnessed violent crimes.
The Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center aims to maximize a child’s chance for healing through intervention in a child-focused, child-sensitive environment.
The Mission of the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center is to lessen the trauma experienced by child victims when abuse allegations are investigated by law enforcement and/or child protection as well as provide support during any subsequent proceedings within the criminal justice system. BRCAC serves abused children in East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge parishes.
